I am a computer science student in Concordia University and I started this journey 4 years ago. However, I discovered my passion for web development (building websites) only 6 months ago and this is when I took took the decision to focus more on what has not been covered in university. So I started by teaching myself HTML and CSS from the begining and then I moved to JS and Jquery. With some Bootstrap aswell, I have been able to build some websites. Only then, I decided to move to backend and I immediately fell in love with NodeJS and I built 2 web apps (one using SQL and the other using mongodb).

Within the next few months, I am planning to yet learn some new technologies. Here is the list of what I will focus on:

  1. Improving my javascript skills (here is the link of the course ill be using: The Complete Javascript Course (50%)
  2. Learn SASS and wordpress (done)
  3. Learn react
  4. Learn Adobe photoshop and illustrator
  5. Improving my yelp camp project by adding styles to every other page (right now only the landing page is perfectly styled)
